A Wayfaring Wing is one half of a pair of Waychest Wings. It is obtained from loot chests in Vanilla structures, such as abandoned mineshafts.

Obtaining

Wayfaring Wings have a chance to spawn in loot chests within the following structures:

  • Dungeon
  • Abandoned Mineshaft
  • Ancient City
  • Pillager Outpost
  • Jungle Temple
  • Shipwreck (“Treasure” chest only)
  • End City

They are most common in Ancient Cities.

Usage

Shapeless crafting recipe for Waychest Wings with a Rift Wing and a Wayfaring Wing

Wayfaring Wings are only used to craft Waychest Wings (not Elytra). The recipe also requires a Rift Wing. The recipe is shapeless.
