X-Way Potion

An X-Way Potion is a potion that reveals the location of 1 nearby undiscovered Mini Waychest.

Obtaining

X-Way potions are brewed in a brewing stand. An awkward potion infused with a Rift Locator Egg will become an X-Way Potion. This potion can also be converted to a Splash X-Way Potion by adding gunpowder.

Usage

Drinking an X-Way potion reveals the nearest undiscovered Mini Waychest within 256 blocks. Upon drinking, the potion also displays a message on the action bar indicating the distance to the revealed Mini Waychest. If no undiscovered Mini Waychest is within range, the potion will not be consumed (unless it is a splash potion).

The revealed Mini Waychest remains permanently revealed to the potion consumer until the Mini Waychest is discovered, either by the potion consumer or by anyone else on the same Journey.

The potion also gives 30 seconds of mining fatigue. Even after the mining fatigue effect wears off, digging a tunnel or building a bridge directly to the revealed Mini Waychest is not allowed.
